Let's start

We recommend naming the file with the date of the measurements, the stretch percentage, and the name of the person measured.



This is the measurement around the widest part of the hips and buttocks


Measure where you want the underwear to sit — not including the height of the elastic band. Note: This is not the traditional waist measurement taken at the narrowest part of your torso—make sure to measure where the underwear will actually rest on your body.


(most often 5-15% stretch percentage is enough. This isn't how much your fabric can stretch—it's how much you want it to be stretched when the underwear is worn. In other words, it refers to the intended snugness of the fit on the body.)


How to sew it?

It's always best to test in muslin first. There are several ways of sewing it. You can use the method shown in this video:
